California Bucket List: Photo Booth at the Ace Hotel

Photo Booth at the Ace Hotel

My Dad & best friend, Hannah, came in to visit last weekend, and boy, did I need it. It was so refreshing to have them in LA and take my mind off the busy days of work for a little bit. If you had a chance to read my blog last week, you saw that I started out to complete a California Bucket List. You can read what I put on it here. One of my ‘must-do’s’ was to take a picture in the photo booth at the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles! I had heard so much about this hotel and seen so many photos from multiple locations! I knew that coming here would have to be something I did before I left California!

Conveniently, the Ace Hotel is only a couple blocks away from Hillsong LA. So, after church on Sunday, we walked over for brunch at their restaurant called, the LA Chapter. While waiting for a table, Han & I popped into the photo booth for a few photos! So much fun, and I love how the photos came out!

The atmosphere of the hotel is so great, and brunch was amazing, too! The menu can be a little vague, but everything we got was amazing. Their cocktails not only looked delicious, but were so beautiful!

The Ace has an incredible rooftop bar, and my dad & I stopped in just in time to catch the sunset! So beautiful. Also, no cover charge, so if you want a nice place to spend golden hour, make your way up!

So happy to be active in crossing things off the California Bucket List. It motivates me to actually do what I want to do before I leave instead of just continuing in wishful thinking! Not to mention, I’m just the type of person that loves lists and crossing things off of them! What about you? Have you ever made a short-term bucket list on trips? Do you usually do & see everything you want to?
